Tucows is currently doing some analysis on the opportunities associated with
.pro. While a few other registrars might be offering .pro currently - for
the record there has been *very* little information divulged on the roll-out
process of .pro. Some of the registrars are even saying 'TBD' next to the
domain pricing...which means that no one has any info on .pro names from the
registry (who happens to be RCOM btw)
In addition to that, there is a lot of confusion surrounding exactly what
constitues a 'pro' While it is clearer for LLB, MD, CPA, CA in the US and
Canada, the lines are much more blurred outside of the US.
Think of how much confusion the launches of .info and .biz have caused...and
WE actually do have information on those 2 new gTLDs...if i send out any
info on .pro - you guys are gonna roast me even more...and I certainly can't
have that :)

LOL!! With all the talk about sex.info in here I guess now we'll all
have to prepare ourselves for the sex.pro's as well! :)
Wonder what'll be quoted for those registrations? $10 U.S. just gets you
the name you want... it's a $100 U.S. if you decide you want it hosted
(probably the "around the world" deal. :)
