It is extremely difficult to get anything done through register.com. We have problems getting nameservers changed every time we sign on a new client that registered their domain name through them. Generally takes 1-2 weeks and several requests to get them to make the changes. Don't know if it is growing pains for them or the fact that they have recently started offering a hosting service of their own, but the problems with getting nameserver modifications started about the same time they started to offer a hosting connection. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Engelhardt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, August 02, 2000 1:34 PM Subject: has anyone had trouble transfering from register.com ? > Hello, > > I have a customer ready to transfer about 75 domains from register.com but > the attempts to transfer so far have ended up with a timeout. > > has anyone else had this problem. > > It sounds like register.com sends out a second confirm message, but these > messages did not appear in the latest attempt, even though the emails are > correct at register.com > > > any suggestions? > > Mark Engelhardt > > ================================================================ > Mark Engelhardt > IntuitiveISP.com > 935 Jackson Street > Benicia, California 94510 > Phone: (206) 888-6000 > Fax: (707) 897-8436 > E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > http://www.intuitiveISP.com > > Domain name registrations $15.00 > Domain name transfers $9.00 > Web Hosting $9.00 > > ================================================================ > > > > >
