Handles as implemented by NSI pretty much suck. That being said, there is
a definite (and well vocalized) need to implement a relational
handles-type structure to allow singular updates across the entire
dataset.

Constitution R2 will include support for this.

Here's a small glimpes into our road-map

OpenSRS v2.0 - the current implementation of the client/server system

Constitution R1 - the upcoming release. Main focus is on stability,
scalability and providing us with a solid foundation upon which to grow
the system.

Constitution R2 - primary focus is on extending and fixing the business
systems components, both internally and externally facing.

Constituion R3 - primary focus is on useability of the interfaces and
components.

More to come as appropriate.
