Oh Scott... I wish you didn't say hacking *sigh*

We're stealing code from the less than reliable Registrars, and doing our
darndest to putz up whatever chance we have of recovering from transfers
from OpenSRS.  In any case, the domain isn't on our system anymore, so we
might just pop the data around the database - maybe meld it with other
domains that have some missing bits, until the problem dissapears.  With
some luck you won't even notice, and neither will the registrants that get
random bits of information appended to their whois.
</sarcasm>

I hope this explanation assures you better than a flippant "hacking" from 
Scott.  I think this is the best way...  by NO means are we 'hacking'
something together...
