Hi Abhishek

The country code for Australia is au and the administrator set up the system
to follow the standard .com, .net and .org plus the country code.

So I have "quad.com.au" and "quad.net.au".

One enterprising company bought the Australian country code the second level
domain in the .com TLD. This gave them"au.com".

They've now made a good business with names such as "<yourname>.au.com" in
competition with "<yourname>.com.au". Cute, eh?

And that could be done with any country code.
