Hi,

I have 2 quick questions about the newly supported .CA domains.

1) How do you enforce or verify that someone has read the license agreement
? One way is through a field in the form when they request a domain.. Is
this sufficient from a legal point of view ?

2) Are "advance-registered" domains available to use right after they are
requested ?
Before Sept. 18 we sent our requests directly to CA committee members and
they showed up in WHOIS after 3-7 days.
Now, *new* domains are not supposed to show up there until November 1st,
according to CIRA... is that right ?
Although I have gone through all the docs, I can't seem to find a clear
answer to this. On the other hand, what would be the point of the Nov. 1
date if domains become active before that date ? Or is it simply a transfer
date (vs. operational domains date) ?

Thank for any info in this, I'd appreciate comments on both issues.
