I still need clarification
When an order is submitted it enters a pending state, subject to registry
approval. Typical registry processing time is under 5 minutes...
... it is important to communicate this delay to users...You can check the
status...anytime thru the RWI. This delayed processing is very similar to
...transfer of .com.
Maybe I should rephrase - at what point in the process will the customer
experience the 5 minute delay. I can't warn them about it if I don't know
when it happens. I had no idea there was a delay with .com transfers. I want
to know if the customer is directly affected or if it happens behind the
scenes? Do they have to sit by their computer for 5 minutes to see an
onscreen message? 5 minutes before they get their confirmatory email?
