Namezero provides a "Passport" service... it forwards your domain to an
existing url.
their service also has an ad/banner in a frame, you can see an example by
going to www.djmystik.com It's the only namezero site I've ever actually
come across without looking hard.
They also claim the domain is "yours" but it gets registered in their name
which would lead me to suspicions on when, if, and how they'd release it to
you when you decide to part your ways.
There is also a $14.95US Transfer-OUT fee for leaving early "which may be
billed from time to time". (http://www.namezero.com/terms.htm) section 7.3
I wouldn't use them for any domain in which you need to control.
I'd much rather the register.com's $1 deal at least then you've got full
control and can transfer out when you want.
