These are not free domains. If you actually read the offer, you order a
domain and don't pay anything for 90 days. After that period you pay NSI $30
and the domain is yours for the *remainder* of the year. In other words, you
have to either pay $30 for the domain for the year, or it will be expired
after those 90 days.
As far as transferring it, I'm sure you will be able to transfer it to
OpenSRS as soon as the domain has been paid for.
Basically, it's a very, very, very poor no-cost marketing gimmick that is
trying to drag in the people who can't read or understand the word
"remainder". :-)
