Ahhh, good old Cringely. It would be good if we could
finally nail them for this type of behavior. Really,
I would be aghast if I found out an RSP did something
like that. I've heard rumors of small registRARs doing that,
but nothing that seemed to have much validity.
It seems to me that Cringely could simply
find out what the names were, find out who they were
registered by and when and then put hardcore snoops
on those particular records and see if the truth could
be uncovered ('cuz you *know* they'd cover their tracks well).
Clearly, registRARS and aftermarket don't go together, though
I guess there would always be avenues for resale even without
defined connections to aftermarket resellers.
Virtue is all well and good, but profit is business, eh?
