Registrars seems entirely non-plussed by the ICANN warning. The only
thing keeping them from being total dirtbags is that they aren't charging.
Of course, the customers will have to pay $35-40 per name when they ~do~ go
through, but .... is a double-digit expense for a year of registration something
that makes or breaks your P/L?
Personally, I thought it a little premature, and I must confess to hoping that
when this thing kicks in they discover they didn't plan well enough and they
lose all profits to litigation
BUT,
it's not a bad idea if they pull if off, right? Which side of the racket do you
want to be on? The handle?
