I'm not on the bizops list and ain't going to join to send one message. ;-)

I have a 'customer'[1] who will need VERY low volume web hosting (e.g.,
they may see like 20 hits a month, tops) and domain hosting. It's a club
that I used to belong to which I have recently resigned from, and simply
feel that there's probably a little bad blood on the board towards me, so I
want them to get squared away.

They're a non-profit org (but not the tax-deductible kind, the other kind,
whose 501-c-something number eludes me), so they have a budget of near
zero. It _WAS_ being hosted at srgc.simplenet.com, and was in the process
of moving to www.srgc.net when everything blew up. (their old site is still
at that address, so you can see how low volume it really will be... they'd
keep it there, but they've no longer got access to those pages, and I
convinced them -- rightfully so I think -- that hosting it on "their own"
domain would be better in the long run than trying to set up a
angelfire/geocities/etc. type of deal. When I was planning to be a member
(planning to be part of it for a while) hosting the site myself for free
was a no-brainer....

If anyone wants to help them out and cut them a really good break (free
preferably *grin*[2]), drop me a line off-list... I'd be really
appreciative of it, and would make sure you got a case of your favorite
cold-frosty-beverage.

Thanks, and we return you to our regularly scheduled anti-NSI posts.

[1] Sunnyvale Rod and Gun Club, Sunnyvale, CA. I mention it only because
some people might have "moral or philosophical objections" to a gun group.
:)
[2] The idea of free makes it no longer really a "business opportunity", so
I guess it would be off-topic there as well. ;-)
