A .ca pre-registration done this morning somehow pulled old whois
information from somewhere. The admin email address had been
changed over a week ago, but OpenSRS somehow used the old one.
Checking whois.cdnnet.ca shows the correct (new) address.
On Tuesday, something even weirder happened. Three .ca domain
pre-registration orders were submitted. The correct whois info
was extracted at that time (I have the emails from OpenSRS
showing the correct data from the order). However, now these
orders are in our "Orders In Progress" queue, but they all have
old contact emails. Attempts to complete those orders fails
because they do not match what is in whois.cdnnet.ca.
This second problem was been reported to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
within hours of its occurrence on Tuesday, but no response
has been received so far. Once I do receive a response, I'll
let them know about the latest problem (which is much easier
to deal with if you notice it when submitting the order).
Be careful out there.
