I have now had two customers complain about the CIRA reps. who are
telephoning .CA domain holders to "remind" them to pre-register.  The
complaints are that the callers are abusive, obnoxious and that the
customers feel that they are being "hassled".

Oops. Just had another complaint before I even finished this email!

I myself have had one call, the fellow was nice enough, but had almost
no clue about what he was calling about. My domain needs modification
before I can complete the pre-reg, and of course it is taking forever to
get modifications done.

Has anyone else on this list received any complaints? I suppose an
obnoxious warning is better than none at all, but this seems a bit
overboard.
