Rick Harris - who was mentioned here recently - has been under attack on
various lists for commiting fraud by peddling false claims to the
unsuspecting.
Today Mr. McDonald of tucows made it very clear that Mr. Harris pod
project was unworkable and Mr. harris's reply was to slime Mr. McDonald by
claiming Mr. McDonald had no "clue" and that the people here are
"foolish". Of course - that is an untrue slur - Mr. McDonald has alot of
clue - maybe even a little zen - and the people here are not foolish.

The reason Mr. McDonald - and other like him - object to the concept
of "pods" is because they directly threaten the business which Mr.
Macdonald
is intimately a part of: ie.e,.selling worthless and useless domain
names to
foolish persons who have no use for them in the first place. I submit
that
Mr. McDonald doesn't have a clue about "pods" and how they actually
work. Access to a "pod" - as distinct from a worthless domain name,
will cost an average subscriber about $5.00 a year - which is
approximately $5.00 less than the cheapest price that an SRS
registrar like Tucows could possibly sell a domain name for.
Pods threaten the business of SRS registrars like Tucows - in the same
way that they thtreaten the business of NSI. And for that
reason, Mr. McDonald is apparently frightened to death of "pods".
