I can't think this can be true. I live in south east asia. If I asked 100
people on the street what NET meant, 90 wouldn't have a clue. If I asked
about TV, 100% would know. Of course it's horses for courses, for some sites
NET is appropriate and TV isn't, but if you are looking to launch a media
site using broadband technology, TV will be the natural and appropriate
choice of name for many organizations.
