The following was sent to all resellers last night:

There is an important procedural change to handling pre-registrations
for .ca names where the admin email address in the current WHOIS
record is invalid. Previously, registrants had to contact UBC to have
the address changed in order to complete the pre-registration process.
Now, the RSP should submit the pre-registration order with the new
admin email address in the admin contact field. It should be noted
that in order to update any WHOIS information associated with .ca
names pre-registered this way (with admin email addresses different
from the current WHOIS record), the registrant will have to go
through a process yet to be determined by CIRA.
