I've been out of the loop for a month or two on other projects - what's the
current status on the new proposed TLDs?
Last I heard, there were a few people 'selling' them, and ICANN were saying
NO-ONE has any right to 'sell' them yet and there's no guarantee that buying
(or pre-registering I suppose) will do anyone any good. There are a few
scams on the go, or what?
I ask, because obviously I want to have as much chance as the next guy, of
grabbing some desirable names (not to mentioning registering some of my own
.com's with the new extensions to protect them) - so where's the best place
to keep an eye on?
IS there anyone who is offering a pre-registration service based on that
they are monitoring the situation and will *try* to get the domains you
request, on a first come first served basis as soon as they become
available?
