I know for a fact there's people using Solaris machines and IRIX.  We had
a huge big endian problem at the beginning of our fun in this industry
with Crypt::DES compile problems.  All covered in the archives, of course
;)

That being said, I'd appreciate if you didn't cross post.  If there is a
specific purpose to this posting, please post it to the appropriate list.
