Hello,
The following error has recently been coming when you search anything.nv.ca:
"Unexpected response received from the Registry: [542] [2nd level must be a
province or territory code (ab, bc, qc, on, etc).]"
Any ideas?
I also have a request from Opensrs users. There are definitely some errors
that occur when searching for domain names that include errors such as:
"Authentication Error: Unrecognized Peer"
"Authentication Error: Authentication failed"
"OPS Decode Error: XML Parse Error
[
not well-formed at line 1, column 64, byte 64 at
C:/Perl/site/lib/XML/Parser.pm line 168
]"
These errors don't happen too often, but they do happen. I have gotten some
other interesting errors in the past also. These errors have come
occasionally while using all versions of the client (expect the XML errors
of course). It might be that they only happen when Opensrs is overloaded,
but I would like to get a definite answer and if there is a problem
somewhere, get it fixed. The only reason I pick up these errors is because I
have added a few lines of code that make my script email me when an error
occurs. I would post the code to the list to use, but it is not in perl. I
am using a wrapper around the codebase which gives me just the responses. I
request a perl programmer to post from code to the list so that an email can
be sent to the admin when an error occurs. I think no one has complained
about these errors because they have not really noticed them. Maybe if other
people also begin catching some of these errors, we can try to narrow the
problem down. Or maybe it's just me. Any comments?
Thanks,
Nitin Agarwal
