Hello,
We're in the process of getting a secure certificate for one of our customers
and the organization name of the domain name (WHOIS info) does not match
exactly their corporation name stated in their inc. documents. To prevent
Thawte from refusing/delaying the certificate, we need to update the
organization name.
CIRA says it can't be done. Well, in fact, a rep at CIRA said so, adding "I
don't know why. I don't know when it'll be possible, if ever".
What can we do now about this? Can Tucows request such a change on befald of
an RSP's customer, given the situation ?
