I've been requested to transfer a domain to OpenSRS from NetSol, but currently the expiry date is 27-Sep-2010. By transferring, you add an extra year to the registration, right? But the maximum you can have is 10 years? So if I put in a transfer request for this domain, I'm guessing there will be 2 possible outcomes: a) it will fail, and won't be allowed to go through until 27-Sep-2001 or b) it will go through, but will only "top up" the registration by a few months, making it registered for the maximum 10 years So which would it be? I need to let the customer know before I attempt anything!
