OpenSRS on Irix - revisited

Hi all,

I've searched the archives and found a couple references to problems in 
running OpenSRS client under Irix.  I saw Chuck's patch but hadn't 
gotten that far yet, as my installation attempts are bombing right off 
the bat with the Digest MD5 module.  It won't compile under the Irix 
port of gcc. - it keeps asking for the Mips Pro C Compiler (licensed 
and sold by sgi....)

Anyone got some compiled modules for Irix (we're running 6.5) or some 
suggestions they'd care to share?
