We've never really had to follow through on something like this with CIRA; I
don't really know where our responsibility begins and ends yet. I would
think a reasonable first step would be for us to ask the reseller (assuming
the domain in question is currently owned by one of our MSP's customers) to
ask the client directly for proof or an explanation. The trouble, I suspect,
is that we might get an answer which seems plausible, but it impossible for
US to investigate.

HOWEVER, these are legal waters, replete with sharks, and it may be that we
haven't the power to be effective here.
