This was sent in an announcement to OpenSRS Resellers on February 8th.
Note that .vc is completely integrated with OpenSRS server and client code,
however it will not be made generally available to resellers until the
Sunrise Period is complete.
.VC Sunrise Period

In November 2000 Tucows was awarded the rights to run the .vc Country Code
Top Level Domain (ccTLD) by the Government of Saint Vincent and the
Grenadines. Since that time we have been preparing the registry system to
run this country code and offer it to our reseller community.
Before this domain is available to the general public a Sunrise period must
take place which is opened to companies who specialize in securing
Intellectual Property Rights for companies and individuals. This sunrise
period for the .vc namespace will commence on Feb 12 and run for a period of
60 days. At the end of the sunrise period (April 13th 2001) the .vc domain
will be opened up to all OpenSRS resellers, (a simple "switch" needs to be
turned on within your OpenSRS.conf file)
If your company is in the business of Intellectual Property Rights
Protection and you currently use the OpenSRS system for this purpose and
wish to take part in this sunrise period for .vc please contact
