Hi Sergei,
A list of allowable code ranges can be found here:
http://www.verisign-grs.com/multilingual/permissable_code_points.txt
>. Will there ever be available lookup tool ?
Yes we do plan to roll out a lookup tool, ETA to be determined. Verisign
gave Registrars only two weeks notice regarding these new code points and in
order to meet Land Rush demand we decided that creating a bulk load feature
would be the safest thing to integrate in such a short time period.

No not all Characters from that range, neither 0468 or 0489. Please refer to
the link above for the full list.

Yes there is a difference, case folding rules will apply as part of nameprep

We've tested Windows, Unix/Linux and they work fine. Do you really care
about Mac? ;0)

Yes, I'm bashing together a PDF as we speak I WILL have it up somewhere by
the end of day Sunday (sooner I hope). I'll post a link to it to all live
resellers and this list when its ready.
Cheers,
James

Subject: Few important questions about multilingual names
While modifying old good 2.01 to handle new multilingual
names few questions arise, mostly about Cyrillic names.
Most important of them:
1. Will there ever be available lookup tool ?
2. Will all characters from range 040004FF be accepted ?
How about that crazy chars, like 0468 or 0489 ?
3. Will be there any difference between capital and small
characters, i.e. diffs between 0410 (A) and 0430 (a).
4. Russian language have at least 4 different codetables, depending
on OS: 1251 for Win, KOI8R for Unix, CP866 for DOS, one for Mac.
Which one will be accepted in CSV file ?
5. Will detailed information about all process be available for
resellers at least to the end of Sunday,25 or we'll have to study
on live system ?
I know that all developers now work without sleep on RWI, but
maybe someone can clarify situation...
Thanks
