Transferring existing OpenSRS domain to RSP

I attempted to transfer a domain already registered with TwoCows and got
a message back;
"Domain not transferable: Domain resides on current registrar."

The client wants it transferred and he is the admin contact. He may have
forget the username password for the domain.

How can I get control of the domain keeping all existing contact info
but just change the DNS ?
