well put Erik.
The whole value of domain names is their 'rememberability', and you'd have
to have been living on another planet not to know about the global
com/net/org combo. The fact that there are now nearly 30 million registered
.com domains would attest to it's popularity. Mind you, given the worlds
population, that's not a whole lot either I suppose? Maybe the whole thing
isn't as popular as we are convincing ourselves it is!
