Interesting posting on the ICANN site: http://www.icann.org/melbourne/registrar-share-data-06mar01.htm According to this article, as of 31 December 2000, Tucows has 7.08% of all .com/.net/.org registrations (third behind Netsol and Register.com), and held the highest percentage of net NEW registrations (15.97%) in the fourth quarter of 2000, bumping Netsol out of the top spot for the first time. In fact, Netsol dropped from the top spot to #3 in 4Q2000, behind Tucows and Register.com.
