I was speaking to a developer about the defficiencies in the document, and
we will deal with that, but in the short term, he said:
"By the way, if I recall correctly, the answer to his question is that
he has to set reg_type to "transfer". Also, he must make sure the
period is set to "1" (one year), any other setting will produce an
error."
