Hey all,
We started selling tv names from our website at the beginning
of the month - haven't sold many of them, but that's not the
problem. I had a customer claim that the premium names are a
scam.
He says that he searched for a couple names which were available
and not premium. But when he searched later, the name he wanted
was now a premium name, whereas it wasn't previously.
My initial thoughts on this were that the client had maybe put
in a slightly different spelling - or that the lookup from
osrs returned incorrect result the first time. It's not that
I blindly trust dot.TV (far from it), its just that I like
to give the benefit of the doubt.
Anyway, I thought I'd check with others on the list to see
if they have experienced similar circumstances. I was thinking
of moving the premium names off our site anyway, because I
don't like re-directing to a competitor (especially when
they provide specials that undercut their resellers), but
if there are these other problems as well, then I may need
to get rid of them altogether.
