Neah, meant to reply to this one...

(The Cobalt comes with SSL by default Charles.)

I'm not sure about the RaQ3, but if it's anything like the RaQ4, you could be
in a little trouble. The RaQ4 generates the SSL configuration directives
dynamically when httpd is started, using embedded Perl code in the
httpd.conf. I really don't know if you can manually add SSL directives to the
VirtualHost blocks. You should be able to, but it might interfere with the
Perl code, so you might need to hack a little Perl code.

That said, the RaQ3 might be different. What you should do is turn on SSL for
the host in question, and have a look at the httpd.conf. If you don't see a
<Perl> block in there, you just need to add SSL configuration directives
manually. See the mod_ssl docs (on httpd.apache.org) for info on how to set
it up, or ask someone for an SSL-enabled httpd.conf and follow its lead.

If you /do/ see a <Perl> block though, your best bet is to join the cobalt-
users mailing list and post a question about it. Tell the list that you need
to use a chained cert, and how would you go about it. Sun are quite
respinsive, so you should get a reply. Failing that, you'll need to get on an
Apache mailing list and ask there. Your best bet is probably the mod_ssl list
itself, as Ralf Engelschall - the primary mod_ssl developer - is on the list
and is very helpful. Failing that, you'll have to get a "proper" cert. (Sorry
Tucows, no offense! :)
