These are what I would class as "dangerous" initiatives. Each time a
different encoding scheme is deployed against the TLDs, a new set of TLDs is
created. This may be a "good thing" or it may be a "bad thing". No one
really knows. One thing is for certain however, this is not DNS. Rather,
it's a commercial aberration that must be viewed with suspicion.
Quite frankly, I strongly believe that given the current trajectory, MLDN
test-beds like this will lead to a useless DNS. No DNS, no Internet. (At
least given current technology)
