If you cannot use a nameserver to register (or modify) a gTLD, you must do
one of the following:

1) If it is a gTLD based nameserver (dns1.mydomain.com/net/org), you must
register the nameserver at the Registrar that's currently sponsoring
"mydomain". This is possible in OpenSRS via the Manage Domain interface
(either manage.cgi locally, or http://manage.opensrs.net). Under the
"Nameserver" section, there is a link at the bottom of the page to "create
or modify" a nameserver based on your domain. You MUST be using a unique
hostname (there can only be ONE dns1.mydomain.com) and a unique IP address

2) If the nameserver is ccTLD based, you can email [EMAIL PROTECTED] In
the subject line, put "ccTLD nameserver addition - <nameserver name>".

Email me the nameserver you're having problems with, if neither of these
cases seem to be a viable solution for you.
