The fun registrar to transfer from is register.com. That's next to
impossible! We track the number of transfer failures per registar and guess
who fails more than anybody else? register.com!

I've called them before and one of their customer support reps told me to
type in "I approve the transfer of the domain xxxx.com from register.com to
xxxx registrar.", but unfortunately they don't tell you that on the form.
You actually have to call them up to figure out how to do it.

It isnt always the case with the speedy transfers, some clear in two days
and some take five or six! But on average NSI seems to be the quickest to
release domains for transfer to OpenSRS ( odd isnt it :)

Mind you, others may have differing opinions with regards to this.
