Hi Sergei, I've been dragged through the mud on one of these disputes (www.goldline.com). Here's my take. A trademark -- unless famous -- should not give anyone the right to steal a domain. However, the process is very much stacked against the start-up. Any yahoo with a mark can make a play for your domain. It seems like trademark can provide reasonable protection under UDRP but, from other side, it might be a really cheap way to legally hijack almost any domain. I want to try to register own domain, but not sure is it have to be a federally registered or state registered trademark, and if state - which one have easiest procedure and lowest fees ?
