We talked to NSI on the phone yesterday about a similar domain where the
WHOIS shows the registration date and the expiration date as being the
same:
Record last updated on 18-May-2001.
Record expires on 18-May-2001.
Record created on 18-May-2001.
Both the expires and created dates shown are completely wrong; the domain
was actually registered 18 months ago and has another six months before
expiration.
This "amusing situation" led to a transfer being rejected both because
the domain was too new (less than 60 days) AND because it was expired.
NSI is apparently having some serious problems with the WHOIS that they
are looking into.
