Would it not be possible to have some type of system status information in
the RWI interface.
Maybe a one-liner at the top of page that says: "Operating Normally" when
all is OK, and a hyper linked "Please Read: Status Advisory" - when
something is up (or down as the case may be).

VeriSign is currently blocking some registrars (as reported to me just now
from Operations), and are working with us to get this resolved. This does
not affect ALL registrars, but some of them (ourselves included). We hope
to get this resolved shortly.
