transfers from CORE INTERNET COUNCIL OF REGISTRARS

Does anyone have any experience with transfers from CORE INTERNET COUNCIL OF
REGISTRARS?  Should we expect a email confirmation similar to NSI?

We have a transfer that has been waiting for registry approval for 5 days
now.  We haven't had to wait this long for NSI and I was just curious.
