I'm beginning to like this semi-regular tradition that seems to be forming
here...

I missed out last week (and I shouldn't have) in sending on this great news
*but*, Tom McDonald, one of the original brains behind OpenSRS, is also a
new father. Tom had a baby girl (it really was a baby girl, I doublechecked)
just last week. Kudos can be sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

>From the "it-aint-over-till-it's-over" department, this just in from
Register.com...

"As a result of close review of industry practices, register.com has
determined that it would change its policy to one of default ACK."

Guess what folks - transfer might just start working again. There's a lot of
work still to be done to make sure that this doesn't happen again, but
RCOM's change of heart brings us just one step closer. Thanks to everyone
that took the time out to describe the problems you were having with
Register.com in detail.

That's it - have a great weekend, I'll be back in ten days...
