Probably automagically, otherwise it will probably produce too much hazzle. 
However, it should be possible to "opt" in or out of the extra permissions for 
a profile owner. (That means, if a profile owner doesn't want this, he should 
be able to prohibit this, in general or domain-by-domain, whatever you seem 
fit to implement.)
