I posted an earlier message about this here but it didn't get any response.

The .info sunrise rules encourage fraudulent registrations. The question
is, will the .info registry do any trademark checking before accepting the
registrations.

If so, then many names currently excluded from landrush pre-reg (at least at
OpenSRS) will actually be available during landrush. (Since all the
landrush pre-reg's will need to be filtered to remove names registered
during sunrise anyway, it makes no sense to not accept landrush pre-reg's
for which there are pending sunrise registrations that may be rejected by
the registry.)

If not, then it will be up to the seriously flawed sunrise challenge process
to fix the problem, and there is no incentive for challenges except by
trademark holders which do not exist for the vast majority of fraudulent
generic sunrise registrations. Afilias gets $25 kickback from WIPO for each
challenge, so there is no incentive for them to discourage fraudulent
sunrise registrations, other than the inevitable outcry from the public,
just now beginning to be heard.
