On a similar note - how long does it takes for the "offensive email" to be
sent to the admin of
the domain at Netsol? I've been waiting for one for a couple of days without
luck, and want to know
whether there is a problem, or if it takes them "longer".

Business As Usual at NetSol - check the confirm message, I think there is
a way to confir, using A Fax. And in theory, if they call NetSol with that
NIC number, they can force the domain to be released on the phone.
Good luck, we have had problems like this with over 50 domains so far,
NetSol is fighting a nastly battle.
