I thought of that too, however, the reseller notices are being sent with no time lag (they are not sent via the mailing list). Also, http://www.afilias.info has the current status of the .info registry. It would be nice to have a general "OpenSRS current status" page posted somewhere (for all outages) that is always up to date. Hopefully such a page would cut down on list traffic. The .info registry should be back up 3 hours from the time I am posting this...
