Hello, I got a complaint from one of our "resellers"... As you know we
are a reseller ourselves, but have modified the OpenSRS system on our
servers to allow resellers of our "reseller" system to "resell".. You get
the picture..
Anyway, the complain from one of our resellers deals with the "Sponsoring
Reseller" info in the whois. Here is the message:
<SNIP>
Jeremy:
I have just discovered today that you are inserting
advertising to all whois records such as this:
"Sponsoring Reseller; for Technical Support
with respect to this domain contact:
Bella Mia dba Maria's Internet Access, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
262 248 6759"
I'll be honest about it, I do not like it. As matter of fact
I would like to ask you to remove it from my registrations (BMIA070901R7)
if that is possible at all.
If not, I can certainly look for an other source to register names.
Thank You.
</SNIP>
In any event, can this message be modified? Does it have to be there?
Is this an ICANN mandated thing?
Just curious.. I would hate to think I would loose a reseller for
something this silly, but...
Thanx,
Regards,
Jeremy Anthony Kinsey
