Hi, I hear the country codes for UK are to change to GB? anyone know what this is about? is the ccTLD codes changing? or just the form submit country code section?
Here is a snippet i received via email. ** IMPORTANT - Modification to Great Britain Country Codes ** As per ICANN requirements we will be implementing a change in our registration system whereby the United Kingdom country code will be changed from �UK� to �GB�. This change is expected to be implemented on 12th November. After this point any registration (either gTLD or new TLD) will not be accepted with a �UK� country code. It is important that you update you systems to ensure that you are not impacted by this change. Note: Currently we are accepting both �UK� and �GB� country codes. Jeff.
