Mike,

When I started we were pre-1.0 client code ;) We update the code where
necessary to fix problems, and add enhancements and other products to the
client's capability.

The introduction of the SF client code, while initially beta, is to
further our stance as an open source savvy company. The client code was
always meant to have to addition of our community's ideas and fixes (and
we've done a lot of that). Also, the SF code is meant (and designed) to
be incredibly easy to upgrade - once you've got it installed, upgrading to
newer versions is a matter of altering the main component. The rest
should fall into place (and make your job a heck of a lot easier) :)
