Woo hoo!

NSI has been holding one of my IP addresses hostage. A co-lo customer
of mine with DNS servers in .be moved his service elsewhere and changed
his DNS server IP addresses. But he neglected to update the appropriate
host record at Network Solutions which was being used by NSI-registered
domain records.

NSI was erroneously exporting the glue record for this .be domain, and
pointing the host at the old IP address in my netblock. (i.e. the host
in .be showed up with my IP address at whois.crsnic.net listing NSI as
the registrar, even though NSI doesn't handle .be domains.)

All it took was three weeks of pestering four different Veridrones on
their 800 number.

See? It's not impossible! ;-)
