I found that from our Montreal Operation, my packets go to Chicago, then Toronto, than Flint, Mi (where I assume the OpenSRS system is hosted). Here is a VisualTraceRoute output:

I'm not a backbone specialist. But it seems that the OpenSRS system should be hosted with a Super Internet Carrier with better connectivity. I heard that the system will be moving to a new home soon. So I wanted to get this comment in, maybe to help better the access for all of us.
