Hello Greg,
I recently posted my URL forwarding services to the bizops list, but
since you seem to have missed that I will provide the information here.
Our company namedirectors at www.namediretors.com offers a service of URL
forwarding. You can use the software on our server with your own account
or you can purchase the software with source code for your
machine. Pricing information is on our website.
The back end of our system is in Postgres with a php interface which
manages all of the forwarding features. Drop down menu's allow you to
choose whether each domain is cloaked (framed) or not and whether you allow
forwarding to subpages or not. The interface has a resellers area where
you can manage all of your clients, and an area for your clients to log in
to manage the forwarding of their own domains.
If you are interested in trying the service I am offering a free three
month account for you to use just for the asking. A demonstration of the
system is available at www.namedirectors.com.
To get a demo account send me an email off list with the username and
password you wish to use.
Features not currently available but planned for early 2002
email forwarding
complete DNS management for your clients
Should you have any further questions please contact me.

I know a lot on this board do some form of url forwarding for
clients. I am wondering if someone can tell where I can find some
information on line for doing cloked url forwarding we currently do url
forwarding that is uncloked and some clients are asking if they can have
the other. we are running Linux/apache servers and cant seem to find any
manuals or information anywhere after a several day search if someone can
direct us to a source of info or in which linux module it is done it would
be appreciated. Our tech team only need a reference if available.
